GLASS ASTRAY

Radek Krucina is derived from his original Star vase. By modifying and shortening the initial mold, a new, unique form emerged, shifting the character of his work into a different function. Each piece is hand-blown into a wooden rotating mold and subsequently hand-cut, including the decorative cigarette notches. The object thus stands on the borderline between applied design and personal expression.
